Killing with Kings by Lois Lavrisa
I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
Killing with Kings is a part of a series of mysteries, but I was able to enjoy it without having read any of the previous books. The story is of Sgt Jose Rodriguez, whose obnoxious coworker is murdered via peanut poisoning during a poker game. The story follows Rodriguez and the victim’s niece as they woke to solve the murder, even tho everyone else believes it was a tragic accident. The story was very entertaining and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys quick mysteries.
