Overall Opinion:
Jami Gray “Caught In The Aftermath” was a action-packed romance novel filled a solid premise and characters that pull the story together. When I initially pick up this book I didn't realize it was already apart of a book series which was failed to be mentioned in the blurb/book description when I requested the story on NetGalley. Despite not reading the earlier editions of the series, I was able to persevere and enjoyed this great read. I will state that it would probably be better for any reader to read the earlier books to get a better sense of the characters and storyline line which I will definitely do in the immediate future. In addition, let's not ignore the elephant in the room and forget to mention that it took three days… Yes I said three days for the leads, Vex and Math, to fall in love and find their happily ever after (so to speak). That was the only downside to the book but overall, I did enjoyed everything else about it and would definitely recommend the series. Fingers crossed we get a future edition on Reaper and Lilith’s relationship.
