The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

5.0

I'm glad that I decided to pick this book up (plus the cover is awesome) because of the numerous times I've seen it on booktube/blogs, and it was an epic book. And now I plan on reading more of Cummings books.

The two main characters, Meadow and Zephyr are very interesting (mainly because they have to kill to survive in the harsh future and you still feel for them) and that was why I did not hate the duel POV chapters. Plus the chapters were really short, which made the action stand out. Around page 130 is when it the book starts to get intense and it really gets you.

The only thing I did not like in the book was the replacement of swear words with fluxing and other made up words, but you get used to it as the book continues.

I recommend picking up this debut novel that is a really good book, but it does have some touchy subjects in it.
