You will be hard pressed to find a more atmospherically perfect series than this, and that's the truth. To use some common parlance, the "vibes are immaculate."

I know it seems weird to give a book 3.5 stars and say that you really liked it, but that's just the way the dice roll with this particular one (and kind-of the first book in the series too). I DID really enjoy it - but it just seems like there's too much of it and it becomes the tiniest bit of a struggle to keep my interest for a 400+pg contemporary romance.
THAT (first paragraph) BEING SAID (typed), I truly believe the strength of this series is in the characters and the setting. It's so hard to not like these characters and to root for them, and if you're looking for a small town Gilmore girls type feel for a book, this is it.
ALSO THE COVERS? This series has some of the best covers that I've ever seen. Even if it ends up being "I liked these!" for all 3 instead of "I really liked!" or "I loved!" I definitely plan on adding the paperbacks to my home library - they're just too pretty not to own!
