The Time of My Life by Patrick Swayze
4.0
Another abridged audiobook *sigh* On the other hand, I'm glad I didn't know this was abridged before I chose it, because I really loved hearing Patrick Swayze tell his own story. And it gives me an excuse to read the book again when I finally get my hands on it in hard copy.
Not being a die-hard Swayze fan (though absolutely a die-hard Dirty Dancing fan), there was so much I didn't know about him - how many physical challenges he faced and beat, his alcoholism, and the sheer number of projects he was involved in. And wow, talk about accomplished. I only wish I could have seen him in a musical theatre role.
One of the most compelling biographies I've read in a while - only four stars because I haven't read the complete version yet.
