Oath of Office by Jack Mars

5.0

As thrilling as the first!!

Well, the second in Jack Mars' series, The Luke Stone Series, is as nail-biting, seat-gripping and pageturning as the first one. I couldn't put this one down. It equals the first one in action and suspenseand definitely doesn't let up right up to the very end. And, the third appears to be zpedal to the metal as the first two. i've always loved Tom Clancy, Lee Childe, vince Flyn, that type of thing. So, when I saw these, I said, why not. Now, I'm elbowdeep in a series I can't wait to keep going through because it just never lets up. I mean, how much more can Stone take before he says, "ok, I retire, for real." He just keeps going. TThloyalty and gumption he has, and his stamina to keep up with it all are phenomenal. His partner Ed is the same way, and his whole team are a group of elite individuals that bring enough variety and color to the table to keep it real, engaging and overall one of the best reads, series or standalone, I've read in a long long time. It's helped me rediscover ane fall in love with reading all over again. I'm still rocked by this one, and the first onwh. If you like your novels action-packed, suspenseful and with enough adrenaline to make you feel like yo-ur'e right in the middle of it all, give Jack's novels a try, most definitely these first two. I'm headed to grab number 3. This is too good not too. Yall have fun, and happy reading!!
