I truly did like this one better than the first, I just got annoyed with how repetitive it got. Briana had been in a terrible marriage and struggled with trust issues when it came to men. It seemed like almost every chapter from her POV had something to do with that, especially when she realized she had true feelings for Jacob. On the other hand, I did like Jacob a lot! His struggles with social anxiety were relatable and made him easy to connect to. There were times when I felt like he could've been presented with an ASD and it would've fit. I also felt like their communication could've been a lot stronger throughout the book, especially when it came to them both developing real feelings towards each other. Overall, I liked the story but it was lacking a little bit for me.
