Warrior Girl Unearthed by Angeline Boulley

5.0

Okay, I will read everything Angeline Boulley writes.

Warrior Girl Unearthed was fantastic! I wasn't sure what to expect from this story, but I once again fell in love with Boulley's writing and characters. Perry was a lovely, reckless, and determined narrator and main character and it was wonderful following along with her perspective.

I did expect a tiny bit more mystery than we got, but I was still so engrossed in the plot and everything that was going on. There were quite a few subplots at play and some of them connected in unexpected and surprising ways. This kept me interested, and the fast pace made it almost impossible for me to put this book down.

The ending did make me wish for more of Warrior Girl, but I guess that's what great stories usually do. Perry's journey here wasn't an easy one. Her character development and where she stood, in the way, was pretty satisfying, personally. She learned a lot and I liked the plans she had for her future.
