I could not get past the love interest. This book confirmed I hate the “you’re mine” trope (but x2 bad for it being on the first date! Like during!)… so the main character goes from one controlling lawyer guy to another-fantastic. Disappointed I’m not going to see the revenge of the first insufferable guy, but once the new love interest’s monologue included him wanting her so bad he wanted to, and I quote, “obliterated her”, I was out. Not for me thank you.
