WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO RETURN TO THE WORLD OF THE GRISHAVERSE
Can I just start off by saying that I think this cover perfectly summarizes Nikolai Lantsov? I really hope the sequel is in silver (with storms,,, because Zoya deserves good things)
Nikolai was the literal only reason I continued reading through the whole Grisha Trilogy and this book not only brought back his devilish demeanor, but also had so many callbacks to my beloved Crows.
I love how Zoya's character arc went from "stereotypical bitch" to a powerful and incredible kick-ass general and I LOVE THAT FOR HER. Her backstory made me CRY and all I want for her is good things.
Nina... My bad-ass bisexual babe, the love of my life, out here uncovering Fjerdan government conspiracies and falling for an absolute GODDESS I seriously love Hanne so much
I'm almost hesitant to admit that I didn't get that attached to Isaak, though I loved how soft he was for Princess Ehri.
BUT THAT ENDING-- MISS LEIGH WHERE IS THE BOOK TWO PLEASE
