There is no need for "females" as they have a society that works for offspring in there world, just not to the liking of some once they find the Earthlings. So the Zrgonni are trying to save these creatures that incite their mating instincts. For Zuri, she isn't sure she wants to be in this position so she tries run. It ends up being a pretty good story to keep you interested while trampling through dangers of his wild planet. A fun read but not quite as good as the first.
