Most of this book was very sweet but a lot of it felt preachy (which is my fault for checking out blind and not realizing it was christian fic). It was a cozy read and I did adore the strong female friendships, the book quotes and recs,  and Madeline realizing her path may have been different than what she had originally thought and realizing that it didn't necessarily mean it was bad. Those are themes I will hold onto from this book.
