I came across this looking for monologues that “showcase my (Mexican) ethnicity” (advice that was given to me) for a BFA Acting program. I fell in love. It was amazing reading speech patterns I hear in my life in a script, and it was so hilarious, and my advisor LOVED the 3 prospective monologues I showed him from it. Tanya needs more recognition, like, now. This is great work.
