WHAT! That's it? The epilogue needed to be three times longer.

I was so worried about where this would end up but I'm so glad it ended on a hopeful note.

This book is absolutely massive but it still felt like there were some things missing. The pace was lightning quick and I would have liked some slower character moments.

SpoilerTave kind of disappeared after he was no longer plot relevant. At least he was mentioned again though. But...Where is the rest of the epilogue??? What happened to Talea? What about Galen and Qown? I thought we were going to see a baby! And Kihrin's sibling??

Also, Thurvishar and Senera were always wonderful but I think they're my favorites now. Their relationship is so lovely and understanding and I wanted MORE.

I really really hope that there are more things coming in this world. It's one of the best things about the books, too. It's so strange and interesting and there is just so much to explore.

Overall, this series was so fun. It's my favorite ever. But I would be lying if I said I was not utterly confused half the time. I am looking forward to a reread because in spite of everything I forgot I still managed to be impressed by how much things were coming back from the earlier books. This series is also due for a reread because I read everything as ebooks, and footnotes are a bit of a pain to navigate in ebooks, so I just skipped them. And I read this while I should have been studying for exams so maybe that's why my mind was a little out of sorts.

*bumped up rating from 4 stars to 5 because even though it was more of a 4 star read I still adore the series so it's a 5 star with all books taken into consideration
