The final installment of the series is absolutely great. I loved the way everythnig culminated in the final book and the plot that was bit by bit revealed was absolutely brilliant! The author of course had declared that he wanted the end of the series to be spectacular and I think he made it! It's difficult to keep this spoiler free so I will not get into specifics. The characters are very well developed and each one has its own distinct personality and this holds true even for supporting characters. All of them feel real (not super heroes) and it is easy to sympathize with one (or all) of them. The plot is brilliant and in the end everything fits together in an amazing way. Maybe the author should try writing a mystery/crime novel, I think the result would be very interesting! I definitively recommend the series to every fantasy fan (of course) but also to people just curious about fantasy!
