Changes and Chocolates by Heather Long
5.0
Changes and Chocolates really just throws you right into the fire picking up where Rules and Roses left off with a pretty massive cliffhanger. Frankie is left feeling betrayed and confused, and the boys have some serious groveling to do. And boy oh boy do they grovel. I'll say it again for most likely every book in this series... but I LOVE their friendship. The relationship is great, its steamy, its sweet, its all the things. But the bond as friends before anything with Frankie and each of the boys (and the boys themselves as friends) is so so so good. Heather writes the best friendships and I am HERE FOR IT.
We really start to see just how deep the wounds between Frankie and her parental figure (the word mom really doesn't apply to Maddy) and how much it affects Frankie and eventually how it affects her relationship as well.
The drama starts to pick up in Changes and Chocolates for sure and it ends with a perfect segue into book three! Another amazing addition to this series!
