coming off of the amnesia arc, you would expect me to eat this up but i simply can't. taylor's writing is at best mediocre and at worst several levels of ableist (re: babs). the entire sister thing is laughable, his subsequent removal of his feelings towards his former love interest is terrible, and the focus on dickbabs is just tone deaf. as a tpb and for someone who hasn't read previous nightwing comics this might seem decent—good, even—but as part of a continuity it lacks cohesion and forgoes every nuanced character details. the art is good tho
