This is a beautiful celebration of the Filipino American experience, in a reminiscent picture book overflowing with the scents, tastes, and traditions that define a young girl’s summer with her grandmother. I loved the culture & food illustrated on the pages and I felt the warmth & sweetness of the relationship between grandmother & granddaughter.
