Zac Ledger & Autumn Winters... what a match!

When Autumn, an interior designer in town for her sister's wedding, meets Zac, an NFL player, sparks fly instantly. From the start, they were both entranced by each other, but Autumn quickly retreats after she overhears a phone call that he has and she completely misinterprets. After being hurt many times and always choosing the wrong guy, Autumn thinks she dodged a bullet but Zac doesn't understand and is unwilling to let her get away that fast.

After Zac hires Autumn to be his interior designer, he quickly wants to clear the air and asks Autumn to tell him what happened. Once Autumn mentions the phone call, Zac can easily explain what had happened, and the story blossoms from there!

I really enjoyed both Autumn and Zac. Their opposite personalities ensured there was never a dull moment. I loved seeing Zac with his daughter, Ivy, and how he came to be a single dad to her. Autumn's effortlessness to be a part of their family was so heartwarming.

I felt like the third-act conflict, while understandable, was drawn out a bit. After all the time they spent together, I wanted there to be more communication about their feelings in the end. I also understood Autumn and her feelings, but Zac came a bit out of the left field with his reactions to the conflict. Especially after they already had a few misunderstandings, I wish Zac had listened more to Autumn and those who loved him but he decided to be stubborn instead... ugh men.

Overall, I really enjoyed their story. Between Ivy and Zac's family, to Autumn's relationship with her mom and sister, there were a lot of heartwarming moments.
