A graphic novel that was recommended by a book tuber that I follow - megwithbooks - Thanks Megan.

14 year old Charlie Spring attends Truham Grammar School For Boys apart from negotiating his way through the trials and tribulations of being a teenager he is also gay. I loved the story which is really sweet and funny but deals with serious subjects the experience of a teenager being gay, of friendships and also the impact of bullying both emotional and physical but in a very accessible way. The art is black and white and simply but cleverly drawn and beautifully detailed especially with its facial expressions.

Be warned it does end on a cliffhanger!
