My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry by Fredrik Backman
5.0
I absolutely loved this book. It had everything I loved and everything I didn’t even know I liked and barely anything that I didn’t like. The story is unique, and I mean that in a good way. It’s different which is sort of the theme of the book. The characters are all well rounded and makes sense. Some books have side characters that are two dimensional but in this book everyone has a roll to play. The author also understands the imagination of children and the loss and anger you feel when someone you love dies.
The book is sweet and sad and really knows how to pull at the heart strings. I honestly regret not reading it sooner because it’s been on my self for a while. I wish I could say more but I know that I’d spoil it.
