Sigh....Y’all I had this book hyped up so much for me and it just wasn’t it for me.

I wasn’t a fan of the writing style. I can’t really put my finger on it, but I just didn’t connect. The characters felt pretty flat and I was not connected to them. Thomas was promised to be my rude, broody boy, but I was honestly disappointed at how 2D he was.

The ending, however, was good! I’m glad I didn’t read the blurb on the back or else I would’ve ruined the book for myself because the book states that our main character was the one who loved the Ripper, but I found the ending to be very attention-gripping. I doubt I will continue on because the writing and characterization just aren’t it for me :(.
