I liked this whistestop tour of a Pitbull rescue. I hadn't heard of the TV show but I love bull breeds, and I have massive respect for people who dedicate their lives to animals.

I wish there had been photos. I wanted to see what the dogs looked like! And I would have liked a little more detail on some of the human histories. No time at all was spent on who the adopted twins were or Tia's time working in a gang outreach programme. But as a collection of stories about Tia's favourite dogs this was great. And of course it made me, and no doubt anyone else who's ever loved a dog, well up every time one reached the end of its life.
