A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow, Vol. 6 by Makoto Hagino

4.0

volume 6 is an endlessly frustrating read but the last chapter really brings it all back and turned my previously 2 star review into a 4 star. it was that good

i'll be the first one to say that i hate that thing konatsu does where she pretends she's smiling with her fingers but she's shaking at the same time. how about you just make eye contact with the reader and yell "i'm sad!" i don't know why it pisses me off so much i'm sorry for being a freak

there's finally some satisfying emotional breakthrough with the girls in this volume and this is the first time in this series where i've finished a volume and had a feeling of urgently needing to read the next one . luckily i bought all 9 physical volumes so i've just been tearing through them

this series is sooooo slow burn but i have a glimmer of hope that it will all be worth it. please. makoto hagino.. please...
