Definitely the best of the 3 books, for sure! I felt much more invested in the characters and their relationship. It was such a fun way to introduce them to one another via a funny Reddit thread! The mental health struggles that Emma goes through during the entire book are real, heartbreaking, and so complex. The topics of child abandonment and neglect are themes throughout, so please read with care if that is something triggering for you. Justin's story is one that I know so many people have also dealt with and his struggle to adjust is completely understandable. It was so good to see them learn to lean on one another and grow not only as individuals, but as a couple and a family. Maddy is the real MVP of this story and I hope that everyone has someone like her in their corner! Overall, my favorite of the series.
