I rarely give five star reviews, but any story of 36 pages, that can make me cry this much, deserves it. This was really good! I had a rocky start up with The Knife of Never Letting, but I think this story was the boost I needed, to pull through. I would defend recommend reading the prequel first. The characters were really well written, and everything was read with such ease, it was just really interesting. There was literally not a thing I didn’t like about this, which is definitely qualifying for Patrick to become one of mu favourite writers.
