“Legends are waking, and the desert is angry”
“The desert will have her champion”
This book would probably be your cup of tea if you like epic fantasies, incredible world building with creatures of all kinds, enemies to lovers tropes, and trials
Viper believes that his purpose in life is to help reset the desert back to its natural state, Keera is a woman who was exiled from her clan, and when she comes across him in the desert by accident while he’s sleeping, she plans on robbing him but instead he wakes up and when he grabs her he awakens some sort of primitive power inside her. After she escapes him, the two of them meet again at the trials to crown a champion for the desert that all the clans will follow into battle, if it’s Viper (our MMC) the clans will rise up against the queen and the world as it’s known to be will become chaos, if it’s Keera, she may just stop the world from falling apart.
A big thank you to The Nerd Fam and Aethon Books for allowing me to have an ARC for this book in exchange for an honest review.
