I’ve rarely had such an emotional reaction to a book. I laughed and cried out loud throughout. It was a privilege to be part of these ordinary extraordinary kind characters lives.

Update: I revisited Still Life on audio and it’s incredible in that form. It’s a gift that this author is also an actress, so we get to hear the story as she imagines it. I know I’ll keep returning to this book again and again.
