With little more than a shrug she had said goodbye to someone she really liked, the first boy she had ever really cared for, and now she would have to accept the fact that she would probably never see him again.

it’s quite slow-paced and a little bit boring, but still digestible. about Emma and Dexter, two best friends who love each other but can’t be together. the story is just a collection of highlights of their life. and maybe that’s the reason it is hard for me to feel sympathy and relate to the characters.
