There were several things I liked about Shadowed Heart. I loved the mental health representation and appreciated how it was represented. I'm a sucker for why choose and monster tropes and Shadowed Heart contains both. The sisters gave me some slight Anna and Elsa (from Frozen) vibes. I love the protectiveness of her monsters and how patient they are with her through her mental health crisis. That ending was perfect for the book as well. If you are a fan of why choose romantasy I would recommend this book for you.
