I enjoyed Legally Blonde for the characters. Having watched the movie, I don't think that the movie and book are the same so if you are considering not picking up the book because you've all ready seen the movie, don't be deterred. However, the movie is still very similar. I loved hearing about Elle's fashion degree. Her friends and parents were less supportive in the book, the rival love interest has a different name, Elle does have a bit of bite to her, her dog has a different name, and there is much less attention paid to the woman who does her nails, who is also different (and French, I believe).
