Second Story Man by Eric Ugland

4.0

The book started out silly, fun, and rather sweet, with such a strong found-family element. Everything I know about D & D is from my limited reading in this subgenre. My favorite part might be the creative skills; I particularly liked Clyde gaining the skill "lying to yourself".

Unfortunately, this second Bad Guys book gradually becomes less fun, leading to an ending that left me a bit disgruntled. Overall, somewhere around a 3.5.
