I'm not normally a romance reader, but I really enjoyed this. The communication between Noah and Sage was perfect. I hate the miscommunication trope so much, and I'm glad this wasn't one of those stories. I enjoyed watching the rivalry between the two main characters develop out of hostility. It was still there for the most part by the end, but it was more of a supporting, playful rivalry than anything else, and that was mostly just because they were technically always competing with each other being in the community that they were in. I liked watching Sage and Noah support each other and learn how to lean on others for support and not push themselves too hard. It's a lesson of people need, and I loved seeing it played out the way it was on the page.
