This was a fun book to read as a palette cleanser, with an enjoyable plot. While I didn’t love the golf aspect of the book, I still enjoyed the romance and the overall story. Honestly? It took me longer to finish than my other TBR books and after the 50% mark, I felt it started to drag. I found the character dialogue pretty cringey at points and the ending also fell a little flat. I think the third act character conflict was just annoying and not needed, especially when the ending/epilogue ended up feeling so rushed. However, I'm not a massive fan of Tessa Bailey books in general, so if you are this book might be more your vibe than it was mine. Overall, it was a fine fluffy book, but nothing amazing.
