This book is so well written, I absolutely enjoyed the world building, the characters, the mystery surrounding them and how everything unveiled. Garren and Oriana's relationship bloomed so beautifully, it was hard not to fall in love with them.
I appreciate the author having the disclaimer added to the story. I don't see those very often. As beautiful as Oriana's soul was, the author described her struggles and her pain caused by her curse so good, that it made you feel what she was feeling. Then Garren showed up, like the welcomed light to her darkness. I think we all have met someone at some point or still have those people in our life, that just know when to shine a light in our dark moments.
I have enjoyed every page of this book, and looking forward to more of this series. The story has captivated me and kept my interested throughout the entire book. There was something beautiful about it that I don't know how else to describe besides the fact that I was looking forward every evening after work to sit down and lose myself into the magical world created by K.C Smith.
