"Folks always need someone to hate. Usually someone different."
Kristoff does not not disappoint in this follow-up installment. In many ways, I enjoyed it even more than Lifelike. Maybe because she's named after my favorite fruit, but I loved Lemon to pieces. Kristoff does a fantastic job with these flawed characters and the conflicting emotions each group must face. At certain times, I even found myself empathizing with the "villains". The action is nonstop and explosive, and everything I have come to expect from this author. I will be counting the days until book three!

Spoiler My only complaint is Evie is barley present in this book. I found myself annoyed with her, but I missed having her voice as a predominant character. I hope book three features her more. I know it's a tradeoff, because getting Lemon's storyline is also vital to the series.
