This book isn’t simply “dated”, and people need to stop make light of Sylvia Plath’s disgusting portrayal of POC by referring to her as their “problematic fav”; she was willingly ignorant and clearly racist! Like what in the cognitive dissonance???

Sylvia Plath does succeeds in providing A realistic portrayal of clinical apathy; however, in my honest opinion, it is very dangerous and damaging for “The Bell Jar” to be regarded as THE depression narrative…
