the world changes but the sorrows of women remain the same; will this misery ever end?

I really really really liked this and could not for the life of me put it down. I personally think I read it at the right time for me as Orestes was mentioned and I had only heard about him this week, and I have been learning more about justice and truth in our judicial system, which made it all feel even more perfectly timed. The story itself of course is one of (for the most part) misery, but somehow it was still enjoyable to read about, even if only to read about someone having mostly accepted all that happened (and less enjoyable that not everyone got that in the end).
