A fun trip down memory lane...
I remember reading these books as a kid and absolutely loving them, and they still stand up against the test of time! It's adorable seeing where these characters begin their stories, knowing where it will develop and grow over time.
I will say, honestly, it's a little boring at times, but that is only because they did an amazing job of adapting this one to the movie. I mean, word-for-word dialogue and pacing. So, honestly, this might be one of the rare occasions when the movie might be better than the book! Shocking, I know!
Looking forward to rereading the rest of the series in my own time...
