I loved all of the characters! They were really fun, and they all had their own personalities. Finn and Naomi were super cute together! I'll be brief with this review: 

Diversity: black fmc, interracial/multicultural hetero relationship (cis black woman/white man), mmc wears glasses sometimes, anxiety, chronic pain, a couple of black side characters, pansexual side character, social anxiety

Likes:
  • The relationship between Finn and Naomi. So cute! 
  • The main characters were together around other people and weren't isolated throughout the book
  • Mostly all green flags here 
  • Both MCs had a developed character arc
  • Nice cast of side characters that all had personalities 
Dislikes: 
  • The subplot was boring and felt like it was added after the fact. It was pretty easy to figure it out too. 
  • Miscommunication. If Finn had told her who he was upfront, we wouldn't have had a book
  • When Finn actually told her who he is, it was underwhelming. I was disappointed. I felt like the story kind of fizzled out after that. 
  • Naomi has curls and then randomly has braids??
  • Finn's dumb ass self thought it was a good idea to get in another fight and IN A BAR?! That was so annoying
  • The sports director is commiting fraud. No way! I never would have guessed something so obvious. Isn’  that a thing? Also, why wasn't there any scenes or discussions on how that affected the team before the reveal? Some hints or something. That's why it feels just thrown in.
  • Oh, Finn's dirty talk was cringe as fuck:
    “There you go.” His hands squeezed my hips and pulled me closer. “Take this cock like I know you can. I’m going to make sure you remember me, gorgeous. Make you so sore you won’t forget.”
“The stretch marks, the curve of your breasts, the hair on your pussy. You’re heaven, Naomi.”
