First off, the writing and pacing in this book are so good! It’s more character driven until part 3 then it switches to plot driven. It’s characters and development of characters and horror reminded me of Cassandra Khaw’s debut novella. (Which I gave 3 stars) it’s the perfect amount of weird and fun and horrific. I liked the characters a lot because it seemed like each had a role like the friends in midsommar, like the tapestry thing.   
 I loved it!!!!
