Intersect by Elizabeth O'Roark, Elle O'Roark
4.0
That being said, we did get so much more from them as a couple here, and the plot-twists and action scenes of this book were so well written and well developed. As usual, Elizabeth O'Roark can do no wrong.
These two books together are very quick, exciting and fun reads. They are also unbelievably romantic.
The only reason I am not giving this five stars is because the pacing slowed down a little towards the end and I caught myself drifting a little. The first one had a deeper feel of excitement, because everything was fresh and the forbidden relationship helped so much.
I will honestly continue with the rest of the series, since I hear the next two books will be centered around another couple who seem to have an edgier relationship.
Overall, I will definitely recommend this series just from how impeccable Elizabeth's writing is. Even though her flow shifted a little bit with this book, she is still so on point with everything she tries to do.
No repetition, an incredible vocabulary, the best inner dialogues, relatable and down-to-earth characters, the most romantic love scenes ever written and the best banter.
She also expanded so much more on the world building, time traveling, past and present shifts... I feel like I have never read something like this before. The small details she crafted definitely make this book worth a shot. It's a wonderful mix of romance, paranormal and urban fantasy.
Short, sweet, romantic, extremely original plot, and pretty good writing. You're bound to have a good time.
