Haunted Grave is an excellent addition to the Madame Chalamet series. The previous books all led up to this installment, which starts to dive deep into the intrigue surrounding the uproar in the country, the murder of Elinor’s father, and how they are connected. I continue to find the world building of this alternate early twentieth century Europe and the magical system very intricate and detailed. The characters are likable and interesting. I’m looking forward to the final book in the series to find out who did it and why, and if any of my suspicions are correct.
