Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett
3.0
I should not have gone into this with such high expectations, cause now I'm just extremely disappointed.
The book started off really good. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the first person perspective, I still liked how it was written like journal entries, with footnotes and everything. The atmosphere was really cool too, and I loved all the details about faeries and studying them. But the characters felt pretty one dimensional and kinda lacking. I didn't hate them.. I just didn't care about them enough to be invested in the story.
So overall, I just kept going for the feral faeries and the good vibes lol.
