The Magic Misfits: The Second Story by Neil Patrick Harris

I really like how each of the books in this series is focused on a different character. Leila was also my favorite character since the first one so I really enjoyed this book :)

This one introduced the concept of an overarching mystery more than the first one did and I'm grateful for that. I'm interested to see where it's headed and how all the characters, past and present, are going to come together. So far we've seen some tangled dynamics like how
Sandra is Leila's birth mother
, and there are probably more similar surprises to come.

On a final note I kind of want the physical copies of these books because the art is so. cute. The covers especially, but even the in-text stuff. I need, like, graphic novel adaptations of the series with the same artwork!!
