This book reads like one of those cheesy middle grade hero dramas like Alex Rider, but they're allowed to say cuss words and talk about huge morality issues regarding war.
It was hard for me to get into, because I never really got attached to any of the characters, but I think it did have some really good discussions about censorship and what's worth fighting for.
I think, all in all, it would have been a far more interesting story if it had been about Pru's mom, because a revolutionary writer who winds up rubbing shoulders with the uprising's top soldiers is more my style.
