The Hundred Years' War on Palestine by Rashid Khalidi

4.0

Glad I finally got around to reading this. Was difficult to get through because 1) historical non-fiction is not always my thing and 2) reading about the atrocities and horrors waged on the Palestinian people is just not fun. But it was a necessary read especially as an American to understand just how complicit our nation is in the war against Palestinians. America and Israel are closely closely bound together and this book did a good job showing the numerous ways that Israel's colonization of Palestine is funded and supported by the USA. This book provided good context of the how the Israel/Palestine "issue" came to be, the key players involved, and how USA/Britain/Israel has worked together to suppress Palestinian organization to take back what is rightfully theirs.

If you want to know more but don't really feel like reading a big book like this this thread on twitter does a good job summarizing: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1394211448222625793.html
