“Say in name only one more time, Sweetheart, and I’ll prove without a shadow of a doubt that I’m your husband in every sense of the word.”
It's my first time reading a book by the author and the writing style was difficult for me to get into because it was written in third person pov. I was rooting for Jo & Cole because it was obvious that they were secretly pinning for each other and I liked how Cole always took care of Jo's problems. But despite all this, there was so much drama that the romance was kind of sidelined. Also, the OW was such a fucking bitch and I just want her to be put in her place because I couldn't fucking stand her. Cole's friends were pretty useless too except Burton and I disliked how Victoria talked to Jo when she met her. The flow and the pacing of the story were also all over the place and I wish that some back story about Cole & Jo's first meet and how they got married was provided because then it would've been easier for me to ship them. So while I liked Cole & Jo together, the book could've been executed better because it definitely had potential.
