The main character is needlessly edgy and angsty. She gets a tattoo and a piercing because she wants to experience "pain". She is also involved in some questionable sexual relationships. That's all there is to it. The book is supposed to feel dark but the writing (or translation? I'm not sure) is just abysmal, it's nearly amusing.
