4.4 really enjoyed! The story and characters were captivating. The historical context really added to the story. I think the last 3rd of the book added more of the horror I expected and wanted and I loved that. I somewhat feel that it included both fantasy/sci fi, but to me the book came across more fantasy horror overall. But overall enjoyed and excited to see the show and read the next book. Def getting me more interested in horror writing
